What reaches your board

Other people's changes arrive on your board. This is how much say you get:

Everything (recommended)

Strokes appear as they are drawn, and a whole-board push from somebody else is applied without asking. Still refused while you are mid-stroke.

Ask me first

Strokes still arrive live, but anything that would replace your board — a whole-board push, an imported picture — asks before it does.

Nothing

Work alone for a minute. Their cursors still show and your own strokes still go out; nothing of theirs reaches your board.

Draw anything. Everyone in the room sees it as it happens.

Pick a tool on the left and start. Hold Space to move around, scroll to zoom, Ctrl+Z to take it back.

Press ? for every shortcut — or Invite somebody, because a whiteboard on your own is a piece of paper.

Keyboard shortcuts

P: Pen
E: Eraser
M: Magic pen — marks that fade after two seconds
L: Line
A: Arrow
R: Rectangle
O: Ellipse
G: Diamond
T: Text — click where the words go
N: Sticky note
V: Hand — move the board around
Shift: Hold while dragging a shape: straight lines, squares, circles
Ctrl+Z: Undo — and everyone else sees it undone
Ctrl+Shift+Z: Redo
Space + drag: Move around without changing tool
Scroll: Zoom, 5% a notch
Ctrl+0: Fit the whole board to the window
Ctrl++ / -: Zoom in and out
Ctrl+Enter: Finish a text or a note
Esc: Throw it away, or close whatever is open
